recently I checked my windows experience index and my Desktop performance for Aero had decreased from 3.5 to 3.4, I know its not too high anyways but it worries me that it may continue decreasing. Do I need to update the drivers or something?

Hello Louisg,
Have you changed or installed anything since the last time you updated the WEI score? It may just be something as simple as the last graphics card driver you installed. Sometimes a new driver may increase or decrease the WEI score for that device a bit. You might check to see if there is a newer driver version available for your graphics card, and install it to see if it may help.

That has happened to me before, it was because I installed a new driver. Did you recently install a new driver?

I actually realized that what I needed was to update the drivers... now its back to normal.
