I have Windows Vista Installed On System. Whenever I start the Computer, after POST there is a blinking cursor on top left Corner of black screen, nothing else.
But Sometimes Windows boots successfully(1 in 100 times). Well I have tried 1 thing, If i start the Computer with Monitor disconnected initially, and connect it later , then what i see that vista has loaded successfully.(90 in 100 times)
But I cant do this every time.
My CPU is new and customised while Monitor is old(C.R.T) . The Specifications of CPU are :
Core 2 Quad processor
Intel DG41RQ motherboard
NVIDIA 9400 gt Graphics Card
And, I connect monitor cable to output slot of Graphic Card.
Things I have tried are:
Resetting CMOS ( by taking out cell and reinserting)
changing the slot of memory stick
I dont know wat else to do. Please Help me
