Solved What are the dimensions of my laptop?

I switched wallpapers, but I didn't like it so I switched back to my old one, and it looked all pixelated. I've resized my wallpaper before, but I can't remember what it was. Can someone help me?

All I know is that my laptop is a Hp Pavilion dv6000, and that it has the word "Widescreen" in the top left corner.

Can't you just set the wallpaper with the original file, with the original dimensions?

To find the dimensions of your screen do this:

1. Open the start menu
2. Click on control panel
3. Click on Appearance and Personalisation
4. Then click on Personalization
5. Then click on Display Settings

At this point you will be shown a window, with a slider at the bottom to adjust your resolution. Underneath this slider it will say, for example 1440 by 900 pixels, this is your screen resolution.
