Recently i have been looking for a new card and i am looking at

and i am wondering which is better for games such as AION with playing with over 100 people in an army lagging my 8800gt and other High tech games that takes allot of performance.

Any suggestions?

of you want to spend $200, don't get the hd4890, as it isn't one of the newest cards that have all the features of today, such as dx11 and tessellation and eyefinity. take a look at other products from the 5000 series from ati, such as this which is a bit better than a 5770. Newegg.com - SAPPHIRE 100282SR Radeon HD 5850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card w/ATI Eyefinity - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards --bit of a long shot on price but you won't need an upgrade for a couple of years.

Well i was looking for a card between 100-210$ im looking for the best one i can get for that price, i was looking at benchmarks and the cyclone looked promising but i saw the 5770 on sale, im just looking for a card that's 2-3 times better than my MSI 8800GT OC 512mb

wouldn't the cyclone be a big bang for my buck then? give me some links to better ones that are 256bit and under 250$

Apparently i can overclock the cyclone to past 1ghz and its stable also its like equil to the Nvidia 275GT

whats so great about direct X 11? can u give me some details how much better it is than 10?, i ran windows XP for 3 years on my PC and really didnt care for direct X10 on vista whats the difference? The cyclone seems like its really durable for overclocking and can make its core clock to 1,030mhz and its stable any suggestions? i just want a good card that has 256 bit, and it beats the MSI 8800GT OC 512mb by 2-3 times over i want somthing to blow my old card out of the water.

My friend is telling me that its my CPU, i am running a Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor


I highly doub that, i believe its my video card in AION, on fortress raids i go from 50-60 FPS in high to 7-12FPS when there are 100+ computers fighting with me, same with low settings but 20FPS

Is it my CPU or card? my card is a MSI 8800GT OC 512mb

i think its your card, and the advantage to dx11 is more and more new games will be based on it if htat doesn't matter to you get the 4890

look, if you get a 4000 series graphics card from ati, chances are you will need an upgrade sooner than a 5000 series. dx11 is the newest gaming experience, plus a load of other stuff that it utilizes via dx11 such as multithreading that runs the card more efficiently etc

well..... the devs are saying DX10 was a failure & offered hardly anything over DX9, DX11 on the other hand is a whole new animal apparently, its gonna really open up ''realistic'' aspects, creating life-like textures.

i could give you the market shpeil all day long, but ive been playig ''Dirt 2'' with DX11 & its ASTONISHING!!! :D:D (& its only day 1 for this tech)
