How do I do this? I have the CD-rom that came with the monitor but having trouble finding the driver to download. It's a Samsung SyncMaster 941BW. My laptop is Dell Inspiron 1525 with Vista Home Basic SP1
I want to attach my LCD monitor to my Dell Laptop

just plug the monitor in , boot up and enable the second monitor in yuor graphics properties
if its NVidia right click desktop , select "nvidia control panel" then under "display" select "set up multiple displays"
Im sure somebody will tell yuo how to do the same via ATI if thats the GPU you have.
I doubt you will need your monitor drivers but if you have any issues it cant hurt installing them
