I currently have Intel's integrated graphics (G33) installed on my computer, which doesn't have a DVI port for my LCD. Someone I know gave me their old GeForce 8600 GT card, since they've upgraded to a higher end card. However, I only use my computer for office-based applications and the Internet. I don't do any gaming. Do you think its worth my time to install the GeForce card? Will I notice any difference watching online videos, etc.?

Yes it should you a better picture - just being able to use the DVI port to your LCD will help. If you do install it, don't forget to visit Welcome to NVIDIA - World Leader in Visual Computing Technologies for the latest drivers.
