Hi folks! I was just comparing Geforce 9600 GT and 8600 GT when I noticed this:

Why do the two 8800GTS have such a vast difference in Texture fill rates?
Is it just because they are clocked differently or is it something else?
If they are just clocked differently, can the non 512 MB versions be overclocked to the 512 MB's specs without self destruction?
If the normal 8800GTS could be overclocked to the 512 MB version, what would the performance be like since it has a wider memory interface?
And last but most certainly important question: Would you recommend to go for 8800 GTS non 512 MB version?
Thanks folks!
