Hi There.
I am just in th process of upgrading my system to :
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 2.20GHz Socket 775 800FSB 2MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R Socket 775 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
Corsair 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL5(5-5-5-12) Heat Spreader
XFX 8600GT 256MB DDR3 540MHz Core Clock 2xDVI PCI-E
Samsung Pebble SM2232BW 22" TFT Monitor Widescreen 1680x1050 3000:1 300cd/m2 2ms VGA/DVI Gloss Black
Tagan TG480-U01 PSU - Migrating from Older System
Seagate 120GB Sata HDD - Migrating from Older System
Maxtor 300GB Sata HDD - Migrating from Older System
Pinnacle Studio DC10 Plus - Migrating from Older System
Microsoft Windows Vista 64Bit Home Basic Edition
The Questions I have are :-
1: Am I wise in getting the 64bit Software or should I stick to 32Bit.
2: The Games I use at the moment are
Half Life 2 - Steam Edition.
Call Of Duty 2
All the Trackmania Series.
GT Legends
Need For Speed Underground.
Does anyone know of issues with these?
I have looked around and found some answers and am quite happy to go the 64bit route, just wondering if anyone has any advice to pass on.
I currently have Zonealarm internet Security Suite and am aware this wont work, but have joined in with Outpost 2008 Beta Testing. Anyone have any up to date info on Security Suites.
