problem w/JetLan 2.0 USB Networking cable

i have the usb to usb cable to share folders via my desktop (vista) and laptop (xp atm) but the driver software wont seem to install to vista.

i run it as admin, it has tried looking on the internet on its own, and i get it to install from the cd but the program does not go anywhere. no icons, shortcuts, folders in program files, or even the driver listed on my device manager in hardware of my computer.

when i put the cd in again it asks if i want to uninstall, im confused?

so it asks to uninstall because it apparently has installed it but i just cant find it.

on my laptop it ran fine, and theres an unknown listed on the ansi jetlan program so maybe this just wont work on vista? it should though...
