I want to buy me a new computer (that's going to run on Vista 64), in the days are coming, but I am really afraid of problems I may encounter because of the incompatibility issues I've heard so often. I'll write down the specifications of the hardware I intend to buy, and please anyone of you profs/programers tell me if theoretically I shouldn't have problems.
MB: asus M2V, AM2 Socket, VIAK8T890,1000Mhz, dual ddr2, PCI-E, etc
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+
RAM: Dual channel kit PQI Turbo 2Gb, 800Mhz
HDD: Maxtor 160Gb, 2mb cache, sata-II
VideoCard: Asus EAX 1600PRO/TD,ATI Radeon,512mb ddr2,128-bit,PCI-E,
Most of all I have doubts about this VideoCard's drivers, I was told (from not fully reliable sources) that it won't work properly with Vista64.
