svchost.exe SYSTEM using 50% process time

HP laptop with Vista 32 bit..
svchost.exe is using 50% of the cpu. When checking which services it is running it highlights 16 items all in the group netsvcs. Only one or two of these I can locate in the services panels. Is there any way I can isolate the cause of the problem?

This is likely due to your updates as you determined in your other thread. This thread isn't needed. Please work on this in your other thread.

I have a similar issue except that it's using more than 50%. Could I be pointed in the direction of this "other thread"? Also I assume when you say "Process time" are you referring to the CPU usage?
