little thumbnail icons instead of pictures

I'm trying to shop on Amazon.com this morning and instead of the picture on the product pages, I'm running into what I call little thumbnail icons (see screenshots). It appears this way both on the search page and on the product page. However, sometimes I can click on the item on the search page and when it takes me to the product page, the picture of the actual product will show up, while the additional views still appear as this icon.

I run into this more and more frequently on Facebook also.

Sometimes this will persist for a long time.

I left this post for a bit just to see what would happen. I went back on Amazon.com and now it would appear all pictures are coming through.

But what is causing this and is there anything I can do to correct it?

What browser? Have you tried a different one?

Didn't my screenshots come through? I looked and they were there on my post, but I don't see any sign of them.

I am using Chrome, and I really hate to change. I have Firefox also, but I so prefer Chrome. Do you think that's what is causing this?

Easy way to find out, try Firefox or IE and see if you have the same problem.

You could also try resetting Chrome but do try Firefox and/or IE first.

Duh! Next time this happens I'll try that. Thanks for responding. Will "resetting" Chrome make me lose all my settings, etc.?

Yes. resetting put's it back to when it was installed.
