media centre no epg info

hi i have been using media centre to watch and record tv but am no longer receiving guide info for channels so will no longer record or use epg is there a fix for this yet i read that they have switched epg info providers or something along those lines any info greatly appreciated

Sorry, but I don't believe there is a fix at the user end. [Edit] Workarounds are being discussed in the first link.
