I'm getting an hardware error when I install Vista Ultimate onto a TB hard drive. I have a Gateway GT5448E desk top system with a 64bit Intel due core processor running on a Intel motherboard with 2G ram the motherboard is a E210882 D59511. The HD is a Seagate 9BX1A8-575 internal. The installation goes well until the end when I get a error message stating that there is a hardware problem and I need to insert the installation disk. There is no information on what the hardware problem is. The disk was still in the DVD drive and after restart it never see the installation disk and keep returning with the same error on needing the disk. Has anyone see this problem before? Any information will be greatly appreciated.
First time posting on a forum hope I didn't get to long winded.
