I know how to do this, wiping everything on the HD... and losing files.... whats the best way to proceed for someone that don't want to lose their files? do I just backup the files to a external hard drive first? what about hidden files or transferring spyware, this is a issue right? I dont want to transfer spyware and other problems back to the PC after I restore it.
I also want to save network settings so their internet works when they take the pc back home.
