I have been getting this error message when booting up my machine:
"Could not load or run (file) specified in the registry. Make sure the file exists on your computer or remove it from the registry"
I have gone to registry editor and found the file which is in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows tried to delete it and got the following error:
"Unable to delete all specified values."
I have also tried to remove it using autoruns and got this message:
"Error changing item state: Access is denied."
In both cases, I have been running these programs as administrator.
I have also tried a couple of third-party cleaners, but those have failed to solve the problem as well.
If it helps any, the file is a .cmd file.
Thank you in advance to anyone that sees this thread and can give this frustrated soul a helping hand!
