Hello,
so today i start my computer, and yesterday night i shuted it down holding the start botton long enough. So today i start it and that black screen saying start windows with safe mode and other options shows up, i cant really remember what i selected cause i was pretty sleepy. But the thing is that when i look back to my desktop my background was gone, all the preferences i made were gone (sidebar shows up, top bar shows up). Also some go check my documents folder where i have really important files, and it says its empty and that was created today (... ?) . I freak out thinking i lost all my files. So i go check my disk space and its the same as always so i calm down and think well maybe its not all gone but i just cant access it. I already tried system restore, show hidden folders, nothing worked.
Please help me!! my programs are still there but i cant access my user folders, it says they are empty... my background is gone and it looks like i just bought the computer cause i get hp background and folders say they were created today.
Hope someone can help me, and someone can understand what im talking about lol.
