Mouse opening windows help on left click

well long story short i leave the room come back with my cat on my keyboard and now every single time i left click anything i get the windows help menu. also if i try to open a browser i get a never ending stream of new tabs

what did she do and how do i fix this
im using windows vista ultimate version 64 bit

To make sure that the cat thing is not just a coincidence to throw us off the track
Run a full anti virus scan
If you can Download Malwarebytes and make a full scen
Always be sure to update the anti virus before a scan.

I don't know what kind of mouse you have but, I have a logitech and the logitech SetPoint software. You can specify the actions for each button. It would be dumb luck for the cat to have changed the actions unless there's a keyboard shortcut or key combination that it accidently hit.
