Solved Hibernation issue in some/unknown cases

Almost since 1 week ago my laptop started to have Hibernation issue.
First case was seen on 15.02.2012 - When I came back home I realized my laptop open, though I selected hibernation option and wen out without waiting . And then I discovered that there was unexpected shutdown of Windows, that's why it is running. Problem Report center showed the reason as Antivirus Avira IS 2012 for this issue.

The next time when I put hibernation while leaving I realized that laptop doesn't turn off though monitor is black...I waited but still no response. So decided to cut-off the power. The next time it was again like that.
On the next start I decided to check with fresh start by disabling Antivirus, and trying it also with enabled mode..but I didn't face any problems with hibernation.
Thought that it is fixed. but yesterday morning I again had this. So decided to check all programs which I use (to find out the cause), but still can't find the problem.

I also realized that while laptop is hanging, if to touch keyboard it gives Windows "Default Beep" sound, which means it is still in Windows mode.

How to find the cause for this?

Welcome
I would try several things to see if the problem can be solved.
Make an SFC
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/66978-system-files-sfc-command.html
If any errors are found run up to 3 times.
I, feel however, that your solution to your problems will be found in this tutorial
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/63567-power-options-sleep-mode-problems.html?filter[11]=Power Management
Both Vista and Seven solutions would be identical.
For the waking problem, your computer is being awaken by probably one of 3 causes.
The mouse
NIC card
or keyboard. The above tutorial will show you how to sidisable the feature. Do one at a time, so that you can wake the computer when necessary.
Good luck

After some beta testing period I've found that the issue is because of FlashGet version 3. I haven't faced this problem with version 2. Once the program started to download torrent, even though I close program before hibernating, it will hang. Hope it may help people with similar issue.

Was your problem resolved after you uninstalled it?

Alot of these "download management" software do not close when you hit the little 'x' button, you'll have to right click it from the "show hidden icons" area, at the bottom right corner of your screen, right click it the icon, and then click 'close' from there.

I always make sure that, the process is closed rather than watching to the taskbar. So there is no way it to be open. There was no way to find a solution, as you have only one chance after clicking "hibernate" button - and it is pulling the power. The only way to not face this problem was to not use program.
But I want to mention that, as I remember, I had cases when I suddenly opened program but without downloading any torrent, and everything was Ok.

I just realised this thread was made in february..

Asides from that, is your problem fixed now, after uninstalling the program?

No, I didn't uninstall, but just don't open the program, so no hassles. )
