i cant open email links from my windows mail

i have win dows vista home premium

when I go to open a link in my windows mail I do not get an error message (been there but that was fixed) now i just get the int explorer page opening up but it never fills the address bar or anything
can anyone PLEASE help ???

Do you have the most current, Windows Live Mail or Windows Mail.
If the second download the most current and you should be ok.

In the event that the above does not work the problem is with your browser.
Make sure that Internet Explorer is set as default (at least for a test)
Reset I Explorer.

Mine does not either, I can , however , copy and paste the link .. that works out , it may be a safety feature of Windows Mail to keep you from clicking links that some people put in E-mail . Just throwing in my experience with Windows Mail, I have changed that to a safer mail system now tho, I have my G-mail and my Windows Mail forwarded to another mail service , where links and attachments are scanned before opening up.

Since I have never had a problem and Yard Dog has had a problem too. I would assume that the problem is due to a security setting in Live Mail or the Browser.
Try another browser and email client
