i have a problem about the recently program list. it wont show up, after i use pc tools registry mechanic please help.

First stop using software that is suppose to improve your registry. Most of them do not help and some even cause problems. They are not needed.
Hopefully a system restore will make you good, again.

Running a scan disc before doing a defrag
Using Microsoft Security Essentials and Malwarebytes.
Making System Restore points, at least once a week
Makaing a system Image once a month (varies by user)
Not relying on your A/V common sense, should prevail. You know of many sites can cause a problem.
Do not use any reg cleaning or optimizing software.
Download and use Ccleaner about once every two months. Untick any registry entries.

sir, i had a problem about system restore. id like to restore my previous files last month but i dont have any restore point for that month. can you help me sir?.

Dont despair, lets try this. When you see the availabale restore dates, in the bottom left, do you see a box, show more dates?
If yes check that.
If no, do you have a Vista install DVD, so that we may repair?

First of all follow Riches good advice.
In addition,most of the ini files(files that hold vital information) are now in the registry.
These include recent items.
The registry cleaner would have removed these and some other programs may also remove these files.
Open a couple of files with wordpad etc and save them again.
Do they now apear in recent items?
