Photo gallery keeps crashing.

Photo gallery keeps crashing.

After double clicking on a video file, I get: "Window photo gallery stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working. window will stop the program and notify you if a solution is available."

Even though I did install new window on my vista 32 bits 2 weeks ago, but I am still encountering the same problem.

Any solution can anyone offer?

Hello Kasarjian,

What file extension does the video file have?

Windows Photo Gallery is for viewing images and not video, so you may have mistakenly set Windows Photo Gallery to open the video file by default. You could download and merge the video's file extension listed in the tutorial below to restore it's default associations, and hopefully fix this for you.
