Computer shuts down in sleep mode

Hi...I just started experiencing this issue where I go to put the computer into sleep mode and the screen goes black and the computer is still running. Then, a blue screen pops up saying that my computer needs to shut down unexpectantly. It sometimes works where it does go into sleep mode but most of the time it will restart on it's own. Any ideas how I can avoid this and go back to putting the computer in sleep mode when I am finished with it?

Go to: control panel -> power options; Left-had side of power box you can change sleep times; Click on change plan settings, change advanced power settings.

if wanting to run continuously then, keep HDD's on, sleep - never, hibernate - never, disable hybrid sleep..
