I think i have figured out some of the x64 OS freezes of which i read -
mine so far was out of date Video card drivers AND the video card default setting to use the system RAM instead of the GPU RAM. . . .
The two different source requests may have been trying to access the same ram space and corrupting system files in the space. . . . which is why i was getting the same corrupted system files everytime the system froze, but never got event error messages
