Documents "the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"

I have a Toshiba Satellite P300-160 with Windows Vista operating sytem,
my problem is when i try to open documents a pop up window appears

"Location is not valiable"

"C:\Users\Toshiba\Documents is not accessible"
"the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable"

This is the message in the window,

on the guest account on the computer the documents opens fine without a problem,

Im not sure what is wrong i followed instructions i got from microsoft support, i used a programme called "Command Prompt"

I think it could be the hard drive failing but im not sure,

If i click to restore the documents on the link you sent me will i loose all my information in my documents?

No you won't lose them but to be safe set a restore point before making any changes
