Solved Default double click option in My Computer

This is actually a question about Win 7, but I'm fairly sure it works the same way in Vista.

When you open my computer and double-click on something, (say a game CD) the default action is always to run an installer or setup or something. I want to change it so that instead, it opens the CD and let's me browse the files. I'm not talking about AutoPlay, I don't want that annoying popup every time I put something in. I just want it to Open instead of Run when I double click it, it's annoying to have to do a Right Click > Open each time. I know on my Vista machine it does this, but I can't remember if I did something to set it up like that or not, or what I did to set it up if I did. Anyone know how? Thanks

Thanks. Seems to have work. Although in hindsight, I never actually tried the double click, I just right clicked and say the first bold option was run the installer, and assumed that's what it would do if I double clicked it. After applying those reg files, it still has that bolded in the right click menu, but it opens with double click.

Either way, problem solved. thanks.
