In control panel I have error reporting turned off ("For all users and programs, problem reporting is set to: off."). Yet whenever a program crashes, there I am at the desktop (or a black screen, or a partially black screen) with that useless werfault window displayed. Useless because: 1 - since I'm back at the desktop obviously the program crashed, I don't need this window to tell me that; 2 - any option I click in that window just closes that window, so there's no need for it (and it won't disappear until I manually close it). I find this so despicable that rather than close the window I kill the process in task manager (tm is usually already running, and there's something more satisfying in that).
So, is there a way to eliminate this window completely? I though of just deleting werfault.exe but, knowing Micro$oft, Vista would then refuse to start, complaining that a vital file was missing (if it would allow me to remove it at all).
