Solved Issue Installing Fonts

Hello,
I am having a problem installing new fonts I downloaded. I have extracted the fonts, found my fonts folder on my C drive and have tried to drag and drop but when I do, it looks like everything moves over ok, but nothing happens. I hit refresh, nothing. I have tried extracting the zip files to the font folder, it extracts but when I go to the font folder, nothing is there. But When I try to right click in the fonts folder and install new font and search in my folder where I know the font is, it says no fonts found. Its a font type file .ttf so I am not sure why nothing is happening.

I have tried downloading the Tweak UI program but because I am on Vista, I dont seem to find the "repair" link that it has for the other Windows programs. Any one have any clue what I am doing wrong? Thanks so much!!!

Instead of trying to unzip the fonts into their destination folder, try unzipping to a temporary file. Right click then click Install. If you can't see the fonts in the destination folder you probably need to change your Explorer View settings to "show hidden files folders and drives".

Have you tried double clicking on the file? It is compatible with Vista?

Thank you I got it now! I dragged the files to my desktop and then dragged them to the folder and that worked. Thank you!
