Rollling back to windows Vista with partition..Help??

Hi there, recently a friend put windows 7 on my computer and I found out it is an illegal copy. I need to get my system back to to factory settings and to restore and go back to factory settings so I can start all over and hoping to reclaim HD Space. I get a counterfiet screen messages when ever I log on and in the middle of doing things.

I know it is pqservice, but I dont know how to get to it. I tried to google it but no success that would help me.. Please help me to restore my settingd.. I got my pics backesd up and that is all I care about...

Do I format both drives first and then windows will come back or what? Need advice. I am wanting to reclaim my computer.

If your Vista recovery partition still exists (which is likely), you can reinstall from there. Gives us the make of your PC and we'll give you the procedure.

Another way is to use any Vista installation disk from e.g. a friend (must be the same edition - e.g. Home Premium) and apply the product key that is on the bottom of the laptop.

K its a Acer Aspire 5315 laptop. I have a memory upgrade on it, and soon a CPU UIpgrade as soon as IO can find someone to put it in.
