Weird Things about Resource Monitor

Hi, I have noticed some weird list of files running on the Disk section in the resource monitor from times to times. The Read(B/min) is insanely high for sometimes and when I run though the file list that took most (B/min), I found that they are reading the files but I did not execute them.

For example, a particular mp3 file which I isn't playing is taking the resources? A game file that I have long didn't run it. Or some dll files which isnt related at all such as VLC dll files, game dll files or other types of program which I am not running at the moment. But they all appear on the Disk, Read(B/min) section and it used up a lot of resources and cause lagging to my pc.

I only open a single game and then I found the pc becomes more lagging and lagging until a time the program crashes. That's when I have a look at the resource monitor and found such weird things appear.

Why would these kind of files are been read or running while I didnt even executed them at all?
