Can't Print - Can Scan from local printer after playing with share settings

Hi,

I am using 64 bit Vista and used to be able to print and scan from with the brother printer I have connected to it. I fiddled around with my computer settings - maybe the sharing settings, and now I can't print but the scanner still works. When I print, the file gets sent to print and stuck in the queue...any solutions ideas?
Not connected to a server at all.
Brother said that it's an issue with my computer.
