Hello,
I've been trying to run a backup in Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit SP2 on and HP Pavilion dv6t-1200 Laptop. I've been trying to use DVDs for the back up. The backup creates a shadow copy and starts backing up, but after a certain point it fails and I get "The system cannot find the specified file. (0x80070002)". I've been googling and can't seem to find an answer.
Things I've tried:

Things I've tried:
- Chkdsk c: No problems found
- sfc /scanow. Only gets 1 percent done and I get "windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation"
- Virus scan. Ran malwarebytes and removed infected adware, but problem still persists
- Check the profile image path. Seems to be brought up as a common resolution for some people, but doesn't really apply to me.
- Run Microsoft Fix it 50202. Didn't fix anything and probably doesn't apply to me because my problem doesn't have to do with an update.
- System Restore. Apparently I have no restore points.
