In the last two days I've developed a problem when trying to save out TIFF image files from Adobe Camera Raw (ACR)
1. I click on Save Image... in ACR.
2. In the dialog I choose Select Folder and browse to a folder I've created on ANOTHER HD that I use for TIFF files.
3. I then give the file a name and click Save.
After a few seconds, the error message appears: "The file could not be created"
Three things I've noticed.
One, when I browse to the folder I want to save to, its name doesn't appear in the dialog. The space beside Select Folder remains blank.
Secondly, the same applies to any folder I choose anywhere (e.g. one on my Desktop, for example).
Finally, the ONLY way I can save out the TIFF is to leave Save in Same Location selected in the ACR dialog.
I've Googled a bit and this happens with other programs too, but I can't find a solution. I would be very grateful for any help.
Thanks.
