Solved Picture icons ?

Not exactly a new thread but more of a thanks to this issue .....

Picture icons don't show preview of picture

this is the issue i had,

After moving a few big picture folders to an external HD [to free up space] i seem to have lost the thumbnail previews , tried changing the image views, layout etc but no joy, i can see pics ok if i open them in a graphic app, but not as i should in the folders on my pc [windows vista] any ideas guys ?

Have you tried to follow this - http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/75417-visual-effects-options.html

Make sure the Check box for Show thumbnails instead of Icons is checked

Start > in the search box, type folder options > press Enter key > click View tab > un-check " Aways show icons, never thumbnails > OK

Yes those ideas do the trick, its always annoying when just a checked box can mess u up
