How to remove Windows Media Player

I have windows media player and Acer Arcade media players, and I want to replace with one much smaller media program..How to remove them and what should I download that will support WMV files..Thank You

Windows Media Player is part of your operating system. It cannot be uninstalled.
You don't have a choice, sorry.

I don't know about Acer Arcade media players. You might be able to find it and uninstall it in Programs and Features....
Start > in the search box, type programs and features > press Enter > is the Acer media player on the list ?
