Hellllp!!

Hello everyone!! I am in need of serious help. My laptop is giving me issues. I am getting the error message that says- This file does not have a program associated with it for performing the action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel. This message pops up when I try and open the Control panel. So I cant even get to settings because it wont let me open it. My computer has also decided to revert to using Adobe Bridge?? I cant create new files on the desktop or view picture folders on the desktop without opening bridge?? Its like Windows picture viewer is gone? Then lastly when I open My Computer it opens it in Windows Computer Management snapin launcher?

Idk whats going on but I just want my computer back to normal.

Afterwards, be sure to scan your system for a virus and malware to help be safe with a free program like Malwarebytes.

System Restore, Associations or Malwarebytes should not affect your personal documents. That being said, it is always best to have backups made on a regular basis.

Ya system restores work miracles, and will leave your all your pics, vids, music, etc. alone. That's the best thing to do to try to clear up problems if you're having a bunch of annoying ones. I avoided a pretty nasty virus attack using this method. Just makes sure you pick one from a date before you started having problems.
