Solved Computer is using 50-70% CPU on idle

Hello, my computer is using 50-60% of my cpu on idle. I've went into resource monitor and noticed the process "svchost.exe (NetworkService), PID 1764 was using this cpu on idle. I am having a hard time running cpu intensive programs, and can no longer run games like I normally could because of this excessive use.

Manufacturer: Dell
Model: XPS M1530
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T8100 @ 2.10 GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB
System: Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit SP1

I ran sfc /scan now and it came up with. "Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" I ran chkdsk :c /f but that fixed nothing either. I did not run any windows update, I don't run windows update because it corrupts my computer. Thank you in advance to those that will try to help, here are some images to show what I mean. Also, Startup repair detects no problems, it's said this several times, and system restore has done nothing but make things worse. My CBS log shows a couple cannot repair statuses, its a bit long of a log so is it too much if I post it here?

Svchost is probably not the problem

Run a full and updated anti virus scan
Download malwarebytes and make an updated and full scan

Download and make a memory test with memtest.
http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/246994-guide-to-using-memtest86/

Uninstall, not turn off, your internet, to be sure there is no one else using your computer.

Show me a screen shot of process and task manager.

I ran the malwarebytes scan first, before I delete any malware I wanted to be sure of it were okay to delete these.

Also, how do I go about uninstalling my wireless internet instead of turning it off?

And I ran a memory test with Dell Technician and there was no hardware issue.

With the malwarebytes, they usually give an option to quarrantine, if so, choose yes. If you decide to restore you will be able to.
If the option is not given just make a system restore point, first, so you can go back.

That being said, I have never had a situation where malwarbytes delted something of value. False positives are a possiblity, however, but not too common. It can always be corrected with a system restore.

If you are wireless just turn it off. I suggested uninstall just as an extra layer of security.

My computer seems to function the same after malware removal. This is my cpu use with the internet completely off, unplugged and deleted wireless network. Would it still be of any help if I attached my CBS log of the files sfc /scannow could not repair and found corrupted?

I did try the memory test and it showed no error of any sort. My computer runs absolutely flawless in safe mode and safe mode with networking. I will run a clean boot in the morning to begin troubleshooting my computer to report back to you what I have found. Thank you so much for your patience, help, and speedy responses.

I just wanted to give an update, I ran a clean boot and these are the results. Now I will do process of elimination to figure out what non-Microsoft program is messing with my cpu usage.

My computer is running normal again, no hangs, no system file errors, and most of all no excessive cpu usage. It all boiled down to two programs. Windows Live Messenger 2009 (when executed cpu would spike svchost.exe Network to use 50%) Unfortunate with me it seems as if my computer no longer likes WLM, because when uninstalled and trying to reinstall, the cpu would spike instantly. This happened with no other installs I've tested. The second culprit was my Anti-Virus, AVG9 - it was AVG9IDS.exe. So I fully uninstalled, deleted all folders and all registry keys having to do with it. Booted my computer normally and works like a charm. I can go back to rendering videos! I'm so excited. I now know where to go if I have anymore problems with my system. Thank you so much for all your help Rich!
