It seems my pictures, songs, downloads (20GB) have all been deleted on my HP laptop. 
I was backing up all my pics & music on external HDD and now its all gone, the external HDD it self wouldnt read at all later on any computer & i had to format it in order to use it again. But still all my pics & songs are gone on my laptop. the only thing i did was accdently delete a certain file in my Recovery Partition, wasnt very big. The partiction it self is still the same size.
What should I do to get my stuff back? I tried system restore, which brings back the folders, but not all the pics & songs I lost. I know its so stupid I deleted that file in the recovery partition, dunno what i was thinking.
