This (see below) happened to-day but the PC seemed to right itself shortly afterwards. I performed the following: 1. Memory Test, 2.ChDsk (files and recovery of bad sectors), 3. Seagate Hard Drive Tests, (4) Disc Defrag.
The unit now appears to be working perfectly but I am still worried by this event. Read somewhere that this often occurs with "bad RAM stick". I do not know what this means as I am not very technical. I have also plenty of RAM..4gb.
