Updates affecting Windows Mail on Vista 32bit

Hi,

Ever since I downloaded automatically two updates (KB2524375 and KB2505189 on March 24th), I have had delays in opening up Windows Mail (Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2); printing to my hp laserjet 1012; and, sometimes saving to my disk.

Is there something in those updates that has corrupted my Windows Mail; is Microsoft forcing me to Windows Live with Windows 7?; or, is something else happening here?

Ted, With system restore, go back a few days before the upadates. If everything works, install one at a time. Test for a few days. If all works install the next. Lets get the true cause.

Rich is totally correct that you should take system restore few days back.

Actually what i think you just uninstall one update KB2505189 and your system (Windows Mail) may start working properly.

Usually an uninstall should work; in this case theinstall may have caused corruption. I suggest the System Restore. This way everything is back the way it was.
