Windows Vista(Home Premium) will not load my user profile

Hi for a week now i have not been able to log on to my account on my windows vista. everytime i try it says user profile corrupted. when i boot it up in safe mode i can log on and a bubble comes up and says user profile loaded incorrectly or something along those lines. I looked up how to fix this on these forums and i saw where i can create a new admin account and copy stuff to it.The only problem is when i am in safe mode it still will not let me create a new acccount even when i click on it

^i tried every solution in that thread and none of them worked to create a new account.

Help me fix my laptop please?

If you boot into Safe Mode you should be able to login to the Administrator account and create a new admin account there

@rich i tried option 1 and it didnt work. If i try option 2 that means i will be loosing my personal stuff saved(music, papers, etc)?

Also, through CMD i was able to create a new user profile but it says the same thing about it being corrupted! ahh!

I do not have the re install dvd..Is there no way to fix my problem?
I cant logon to my profile(corrupted)
When i make another user account its says that one is corrupted to..
guess i will have to back my stuff up through safe mode..

does my computer have to be hard reset or something?

You can back up your stuff and then use a factory restoration. What is the make and model of your computer?

Its a toshiba laptop i got a couple of years ago.runs fine except for what just6 happened..But ok so i can back up my stuff in safe mode then factory restoration?
