Sorry, but this is my mom's computer (Vista Home Premium 64-bit, SP2 from
Gateway with 6 GB RAM, Intel Core2 Quad 4) and I can't figure out what she might have done to lose all her photos??
There are plenty of folders in her Pictures folder that all have names appropriate to family activities I remember seeing photos of at some point. There's nothing in them now but the one .db file. All of those folders were created at the exact same date/time.
She doesn't know what she might have done (of course) but I thought the .db might have been left over from some kind of "album" software like what comes with a camera or a printer etc. There's one folder that says Kodak Pictures so I talked to Kodak. They said that any pictures they had would still have been jpg and would have shown up in Windows.
I know this is pretty vague, but I can't think of what to describe any better <G>
