Hello,
Vista has crashed for like the third time so I thought this time I would at least make some modifications to my desktop before reinstalling and then putting all of my favorite programs back on the computer.
Here is what I did:
I bought a SSD drive. (Kingston SSDNow V Series SNV425-S2/128GB) to load Vista on so it would boot fast.
I bought two WD 500 GB Hard drives and am putting them in Raid striping mode to speed up programs too.
Here is my question/problem:
How can I cause programs to load to the Raid 0 disk instead of the SSD drive that after all only has 128 GB of space which isn't near enough for all of the OS and the programs I need. The two 500 GB drives in Raid 0 has 1TB of storage so that plenty of room.
Many programs don't even ask you where you want them to load to. Take Adobe pdf reader for example. It automatically loads to the boot disk "C".
Is there any way to force programs to load to the Raid drive instead?
Thanks for any help,
redham
