Clipboard help please!!

Hi. I do not know much about computers but found this site because I'm nervous I just allowed access to my clipboard. I have Vista and can not access it. I opened an e-mail and was not paying attention and quickly clicked on allow when the screen popped up "click on this to allow access to your clipboard"...I realized it only after I clicked allow. Now I'm in panic mode. What did I do? Should I be nervous? How can I erase clipboard? Are there any consequences for doing so? Remember, laymans terms please as I have very limited understanding. Thank you!!

Rich, any ramifications to doing this? This is not my computer (hence the panic mode ).

Read my entire post.
You can delete, but its not necessary.
It will stay on clipboard until you want to use clipboard again.

Ok, so I am assured there is not a way some hacker can access and steal everything on here? I know you are probably laughing at me but I can't help it.

I say that there is not problem. The clipboard was meant to be used. If you do not use it fine. If you want to use it again, it will just delete the old stuff and put new stuff.
There is not security problem.

But lets not fool with security
You can delete via the short cut in my first post
or
Run a full anti virus scan
Then
Download and make a full scan with malwarebyetes. Make sure that you update before scan.
If negative you are OK. just enjoy.
