HELP Folder views & memory stick

OK i have 2 issues the first is that i customise my folders to look a certain way & after a re-boot vista resets it all which is feckin annoying, how can i get windows to remember how i want my computer to look?


the other is that every time i plug in a memory stick, windows media player tries to hijack it even though i've turned off all the auto run options,

Please help as this OS is so annoying bring back support for XP M$.....

Regarding the memory stick problem:

You might try going into Services, find Portable Device Enumerator, right-click > Properties.

On the General tab, Startup type: change it to Disabled.

Restart computer and see if the problem persists.
