Okay so a few days ago i turned on my laptop and it goes straight to Boot Manager saying this:
A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that may be malicious software from an unknown source.
If you have a windows installation disc, insert the disc and restart your computer. Click "Repair your computer," and then choose a recovery tool.
Otherwise, to start windows so you can investigate further, press ENTER key to display the boot menu, press F8 for Advanced Boot Options, and select Last Known Good. If you understand why the digital signature cannot be verified and want to start windows without this file, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement.
File: \Windows\system32\winload.exe
Status: 0xc0000428
Info: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file
So i tried burning the Windows Vista 64-bit AND 32-bit Recovery discs because i wasn't sure which one i needed. Both times i could hear the discs spinning after restarting, but then i just got the same Boot Manager window again. Then when i click the ENTER button it gives me the option of either starting Microsoft Windows 7 or NeoSmart ISO Entry. every time i try Microsoft Windows 7 it takes me back to the Boot Manager screen. And i dont even know what NeoSmart ISO Entry is, but it doesn't help clicking on it. Ive tried pushing F8 too and that just takes me to Boot Manager too. What should I do? HELP ME! Thanx!
