How Do I Reinstall Vista Without the Disk

It looks like I may need to reinstall Vista on my Daughter's Toshiba laptop. Vista was loaded on the machine when we bought it new and there is a Microsoft registration number on the bottom of the machine - how do I use this to get software to reinstall??
There is no recovery partition on the hard drive and I want to reformat the drive anyway.

I think that the best way would be to call your supplier or Microsoft and with your key you can get a new Disc for cost. I would say about $25.00
The second way is to borrow from a relative, a friend, or an enemy. You just need it one time to reinstall and then you can return it.
You must be sure that it is for the same edition; Home Premium, Basic etc and the same platform 32 or 64 bit.

Your post will make a belated Christmas Gift for many. In Seven, this is a question that has come up many times and the answer that I gave, in my post, is the norm. We were not aware of this additional source. We were not even sure that everyone could buy the DVD at the sources given. For all that you have helped I say TY.
I am not sure, however, if the U.S. is covered. When I have time I will look at the Toshiba (US) information. Merry Christmas.
