I indijones Member Dec 18, 2010 #1 I formatted a 700MB CDRW using windows formating function and it formatted it to UDF. But it reduced the size of the disk to 530MB! Is it possible to erase the format and get the CD back to 700MB? My OS is Vista x64. Thanks! My Computer System One

You will need something/ software to errase the disk again windows cant do it. What third party software have you got installed for writing CD's? As this is what you need to errase the disk!
