Problem with menu bar in windows explorer it show. It shouldn't be there, because the setting is unchecked under organize and layout. I can't hide the menu bar.

Hi lengthy,
Just to be certain, did you try both Methods Four and Five in the above tutorial (and not just the first 2 or 3)? You tried the registry merge AND the manual registry modification? It should work - but sometimes you need to do all the methods before you meet with success.

Yes, please be sure to at least try METHOD FOUR with the REG file downloads, and restart the computer afterwards.

@ Lenthy: To fully test this idea, after you create and login to the new admininstrator account, you will probably have to once again go through the methods you tried before to confirm whether or not it works (meaning you can remove the menu bar). To simplify things and not waste time on the easier but not as certain other options, I'd go immediately to METHOD FOUR as that is probably the most likely to work and easier than METHOD FIVE (which is essentially doing FOUR manually). Be sure to reboot when done. If it works, post back and I'll provide you with procedures to properly transfer your old profile information to the new account so that you'll be good to go.
