Alright, well I just sent a file from my Mac computer (a doc. file) to my email, and then got on my Vista to download it.
So I download it, edit it for quite a while (5-6 hours), and then I go to change the document's name...
And it vanishes, it just vanishes. I've tried everything from searching .tmps and .docs and ~s in the search bar to showing hidden files and looking in recently used documents, I've even seen where Word "saves" these documents and it's not in there.
Note: I hit save numerous, numerous times throughout the process of editing it.
PLEASE HELP, I urgently need this document as it was a plan I had for tomorrow.
